Ishana - Guardian of North-east

ईशान

Ishana is one of the Lokapalas, and guards the north-eastern hemisphere, which duty he inherited from Soma. He is considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and is also known as Sthanu (स्थाणु), and Jishnu (जिष्णु).
